THOOSA'S FRIDAY FACT!

Five miles a week could keep your brain beautiful. During a ten-year study of more than 400 elderly people, research found that greater amounts of physical activity were associated with greater brain volume. Basically it could stop your brain shrinking! Is that a good thing? Apparently so.

According to the Doctors at the department of radiology at Pittsburgh University, brain volume is a sign of good mental health. If brain volume decreases it means brain cells are dying. When it remains higher brain health and happiness is being maintained. It was found that walking just five miles a week protects the brain structure over ten years in people with Alzheimer’s and mild cognitive impairment. Get moving, get running!
